Chicken Masala Curry

Preparation

1) Cut and wash chicken
2) Marinate chicken with 1 Tbl spoons Ginger Garlic paste, 2 Tbl spoon red chilli powder, a pinch of Turmeric powder and salt for half an hour
3) Wash and cut onions, tomatoes and chillis very fine
4) Grind 1 TBS Corriander seeds, 1/4 tsp Poppy seeds, 1/4 TSP Black pepper corn Seeds, 2 Cloves, 2 Cinnamon sticks and 2 Cinnamon sticks into very fine powder.

Cooking Process

1) In a deep pan heat oil and fry onions and chillis for 2 minutes
2) Add marinated chicken and fry for 10 minutes without adding water and turnning very often
3) Add 1/4 Can coconut Milk and grinded masala powder and cook for 5 minutes adding 1 cup of water
3) Add tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes
4) Add garam masala and cook for 15 minutes
5) Finally add chopped corriander and chopped mint leaves and cook for 2-4 minutes
6) Serve hot with pooris.

  • 1/2 kg Boned chicken cut into medium pieces
  • 2 Small Onions
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • 3 Big Tomatoes or 1/2 can of tinned tomatoes
  • 1 Tbl spoons Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1 Tbl spoons Garam Masala
  • 1 Tbl spoon red chilli powder
  • Pinch of Turmeric powder
  • 2 Tbl spoons Garam Masala
  • 1/4 Can coconut Milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves
  • Mint leaves
  • 1 TBS Corriander seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Poppy seeds
  • 1/4 TSP Black pepper corn Seeds
  • 2 Cloves
  • 2 Cinnamon sticks
  • 2 Cinnamon sticks
