Recently we were invited to the anniversary event of Jewel Celebrity Hotspot in Piccadilly Circus. I went along with Bhavani and had a fabulous time! Although it was raining and we took the tube in our formal wear, it was a memorable night out.
Jewel Piccadilly, a renowned celebrity hotspot prides itself on its great atmosphere, delicious cocktails, and amazing table service. Offering a cool and chic feel, this Central London hotspot is spread over three floors, spoiling you with plenty of room to relax throughout the week over a bite to eat with friends and ample space to get your groove on at the weekends.

It was a red carpet evening but due to the rain, the carpet was rolled up! We shuffled from the Piccadilly tube station (located just a stones throw away from Jewel) under an umbrella and managed to squeeze in through the security at the door. We were greeted by some chic looking waitresses in semi-burlesque-wear with glasses of champaign.
We seated ourselves on the lower level for a few minutes and then went around to explore Jewel. The second level was a Mediterranean themed dining area and the top floor was almost like mini Buddha Bar with a far eastern theme.

We ordered the RUSTIC platter with Rustic potato wedges, rosemary and garlic bread, baby back ribs, crunchy chicken fillets, baby calamari, served with dips. It was quite tasty, fresh and well made. The prices were a little steep but since it was happy time, we got the platter for half price! I guess the rates are to be expected for a prime location like Piccadilly Circus. We ordered some red wine at the bar which was not very good, though.

After eating and a few drinks we came back down and were pleasantly surprised by two burlesque dancers stationed on either side of the huge narrow lounge. They looked gorgeous and the whole atmosphere was that of a medieval decadent French royal ball room! We throughly enjoyed watching the burlesque dancers.

Sorry about the quality of the photos. The lighting was so bad, I could not help it.
